Being offered to the public for the first time, Propstore has joined forces with Sam Neill to auction off select items from Neill’s personal Jurassic Park and Jurassic World collection.
Proceeds from the sale of the one-of-a-kind items will benefit UNICEF UK.
Neill said in a statement, “My Jurassic Park boots, along with my Jurassic World hat, scarf, shirt, and jacket are up for auction at Propstore’s Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction on 28th June. These boots were made for kicking dinosaurs, in the words of the old song. And indeed they did, in the first Jurassic Park. I ran for miles in them. These items are utterly unique, possibly even iconic if you’re a fan. Most importantly, the full proceeds will go towards helping support refugee children through the vital and incredible work of UNICEF UK.”
Other auction highlights include…
- JURASSIC PARK (1993) Sam Neill Collection: Dr. Alan Grant’s (Sam Neill) Boots, est. $6,000 – $12,000
- JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION (2022) Sam Neill Collection: Dr. Alan Grant’s (Sam Neill) Shirt, est. $4,000 – $8,000
- JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION (2022) Sam Neill Collection: Dr. Alan Grant’s (Sam Neill) Handkerchief est, $2,000 – $4,000
Propstore, one of the world’s leading film and TV memorabilia companies, is to hold its annual live auction of film and TV memorabilia this June, which Sam Neill’s collection is part of.
Over 1,400 rare and iconic lots will be sold during Propstore’s unique Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction over three days from Wednesday 28th to Friday 30th June 2023 from 8 AM PDT each day. Registration is now open with the items on offer expected to fetch over $12 million.
Online proxy bids can now be submitted and in-room bidding will be open to the public at The Petersen Automotive Museum, Los Angeles on June 28th. Online and telephone bids can be placed across the whole event.
Propstore will hold a preview exhibition at their office facility in Valencia, California, by appointment until June 20th. The exhibition will feature over 80 lots, giving fans the opportunity to see props and costumes from the auction up close and ask questions to the specialists.
