Up next from Sinister and Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson is the horror movie The Black Phone, releasing June 24, and Derrickson has already set up his next film project.
THR reports that Derrickson will direct The Gorge for Skydance, which isn’t a horror movie but rather an “action love story” that’s said to have “genre-bending” elements.
The Hollywood Reporter teases, “Logline details are being kept deep in the earth but The Gorge is described as a high-action, genre-bending love story.”
Zach Dean (The Tomorrow War) wrote the script.
C. Robert Cargill (Sinister) and Sherryl Clark are on board to produce.
