‘SCP’-Inspired Horror Investigation Title ‘Go Home Annie’ Announced for December 3 Release on PC [Trailer]

SCP Foundation fans have another game to add to their collection later this year with developer Misfit Village’s Go Home Annie. This first-person horror investigation game set in the SCP universe will launch for PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG on December 3, with a console release in the future.

As featured in the recent DreadXP Indie Horror Showcase, Go Home Annie puts you in the role of Annie, a low level employee of the SCP Foundation, which is a covert organisation meant to secure and contain anomalous entities and protect the general public from them.

Why has an organisation with the motto “Secure, Contain, Protect” created a division for replicating dangerous paranormal events and anomalous entities? Why are you tasked with repeatedly testing the same replicas, with a seemingly never changing outcome? You will need to take drastic actions to uncover your true purpose and alter the course of your fate.

Taking a cue for other anomaly horror titles such as The Stairway 7 and Shift 87, players will need to utilise existing and original anomalies to solve puzzles and navigate levels. At the same time, you’ll be exploring every corner of the mysterious facility. From terrifying experiments, to loose subjects, no place in the Replication Division is completely safe.

If you’re familiar with the stories of the SCP Foundation, Go Home Annie aims to pique your interest. Besides the most popular stories, players will meet and interact with many “hidden gems” of the existing SCP Foundation Lore.
