Scream Factory Brings 1990s Favorite ‘The Faculty’ to 4K Ultra HD in December

The Faculty will invade 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray on December 17 via Scream Factory.

The 1990s horror movie has been newly restored in 4K from the original camera negative, approved by director Robert Rodriguez, with Dolby Vision.

Special Features, included on the Blu-ray disc, are as follows:

  • Interview with Special Makeup and Creature Effects Artist Greg Nicotero (new)
  • Interview with Production Designer Cary White (new)

Written by Kevin Williamson (Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer), the 1998 sci-fi horror film stars Jordana Brewster, Clea DuVall, Laura Harris, Josh Hartnett, Shawn Hatosy, Famke Janssen, Piper Laurie, Bebe Neuwirth, Robert Patrick, Usher Raymond, Jon Stewart, and Elijah Wood.

A group of small-town high school students, including an introverted photographer and a charismatic drug dealer, begin to suspect something’s off with their teachers. After realizing the faculty is, in fact, under the control of mind-controlling alien parasites, the kids are outnumbered and endangered. Now they’re in a fight against an invasion against not only their school and their town, but also the entire world.
