Fans of the Scream franchise have a lot to be thankful for today, as not only did the Scream VI Super Bowl spot (below) drop several days early, but tickets also went up for grabs.
Additionally, Paramount has announced a special Scream VI Fan Event for the week of release, which will allow fans to see the movie one day early – at an earlier Thursday night showtime than usual for new releases. The 3D Fan Event takes place on Thursday, March 9 at 5pm EST, and you can check local listings and secure your tickets for the event right now.
Paramount previews, “Fans will be the first to see the film in 3D at the 3D Fan Event Screening on Thursday, March 9th at 5PM local time. The event celebrates the theatrical release of the film’s opening exclusively in theatres with one special show in 3D prior to the film’s wide release at participating theatres across the country including Dolby Cinema, 4DX, and other premium large format theatres. Ticketholders at this screening will also see special content curated for this event, plus will receive a limited-edition collector’s print designed by UK artist Doaly, to be given away at their local theatre on the date of the event – while supplies last.”
Paramount’s Chris Aronson teases, “Scream fans are among the most loyal and passionate out there, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring them this latest terrifying chapter like never before, in a visceral 3D format. In this iteration, the Scream universe moves beyond Woodsboro and into New York City, and the Big Apple called for even bigger scares, surprises, and frightening turns. We can’t wait for fans to see what Ghostface has in store for them this time.“
Scream VI will release in theaters nationwide on March 10, 2023.
In the brand new movie, “The Scream saga continues with the four survivors of the Ghostface killings as they leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter.”
Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Scream, Ready or Not), are both back behind the camera for the upcoming Scream movie, which is officially titled Scream VI.
