Up next from director Luke Sparke (Occupation) is the underground horror movie Scurry, and Variety shares a first look this morning (above) along with some fresh information.
Of particular note, the film “was shot in real time in a one-shot take.”
“The film tells the story of two strangers (Jamie Costa and Emalia) who find themselves trapped underground when their city is attacked by a monstrous threat.”
The official plot synopsis continues, “Badly injured and with limited resources, they must navigate a treacherous, narrowing tunnel in hopes of finding an exit before they bleed out.
“Fear and desperation consume them as the threat closes in and they soon discover they have more to fear than each other.”
Tom Evans (Bring Him to Me) wrote the screenplay.
Umbrella Entertainment has acquired the rights to Scurry for Australia and New Zealand, with Film Mode Entertainment handling the worldwide sales rights on the upcoming film.
