‘Shaun of the Dead’ Celebrates 20 Years With New 4K Ultra HD Release in December

Horror-comedy Shaun of the Dead opened in US theaters on this day in 2004, and Universal is celebrating 20 bloody years with a 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital release.

The zom-com will be available on December 3 in both SteelBook and standard packaging. You’ll also be able to own the brand new 4K remaster on Digital on the same day.

Director Edgar Wright oversaw the new 4K remaster with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos Sound. Johnny Dombrowski designed the limited edition SteelBook artwork.

Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Kate Ashfield, Lucy Davis, Dylan Moran, Bill Nighy, and Penelope Wilton star. Wright and Pegg co-wrote the script.
