We love a good micro do-it-yourself indie and we think horror fans are going to be blown away by Adrian Konstant‘s survival horror film Shifted, which has shades of George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead with a modern twist.
The festival favorite, now streaming on the Bloody Disgusting-powered SCREAMBOX, takes us into a world where a group of neighbors are fighting for survival on multiple fronts, where no one is safe if they stay and no one is safe if they leave.
“As murderous creatures ravage the outside, a group of neighbors take refuge in an isolated house. Their relief is short-lived as a sinister secret hides within those walls, and they become the prey of a serial killer hidden among them. As supplies dwindle and paranoia grows, they are left to wonder who will survive when the world has Shifted?”

The film premiered at the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival and has been featured in festivals around the world including FilmQuest, FILMHAUS, Blood in the Snow Canadian Film Festival and Fright Nights. Shifted also received a slew of awards including Best Feature Film at the HEX After Dark festival in Calgary, Best Sci-Fi / Horror Feature at the Toronto Independent Film Festival, Audience Choice Best Feature, Best Horror & Best Ensemble Cast at the FirstGlance Film Festival and Best Actress, Best Ensemble & Best Script at the Vancouver Independent Film Festival.
Shifted is a claustrophobic thriller reminiscent of Night of the Living Dead and The Thing.

The film was Directed by Adrian Konstant (Bickerman’s Grove) and co-written by Konstant and Jason T. Green of Fable Forest Films (the pair previously worked together on “The Art of 8 Limbs“, Bickerman’s Grove, and My Huntsville Muse). Shifted was produced by Jason T. Green and executive produced by Derek Lackenbauer as well as Anita Clarkson, Terry Clarkson, Andrew Ferencevic, Ken Green, Neal Hallock, Sherry Harrison, Trevor Harrison, Sharon Heimpel, Jeremy Higgins, and Cam Little.
