“I’d rather die than risk hurting my family.”
EPIX‘s new series “Chapelwaite” adapts Stephen King‘s prequel story “Jerusalem’s Lot,” published in 1978 and featuring the fictional town King introduced a few years prior in the novel Salem’s Lot.
“The series is set in the 1850s. It follows Captain Charles Boone, who relocates his family of three children to his ancestral home in the small, seemingly sleepy town of Preacher’s Corners, Maine after his wife dies at sea. However, Charles will soon have to confront the secrets of his family’s sordid history, and fight to end the darkness that has plagued the Boones for generations.”
Oscar-winner Adrien Brody stars in the EPIX series as Captain Charles Boone, alongside Emily Hampshire (“Schitt’s Creek”), who will be playing new character Rebecca Morgan.
Hot off the heels of the San Diego Comic-Con, you can now sink your teeth into the insanity of the red band trailer that’s filled to the brim with vampires, blood, and other spooky imagery.
“Chapelwaite” premieres on August 22.
