The carnage and body count are well underway on “Slasher: Flesh & Blood,” the eight-episode fourth season of the horror anthology series. A kill count that began with David Cronenberg‘s Spencer Galloway, the ruthless patriarch who met a grisly demise after assembling his dysfunctional family on an island for a competitive, dangerous game. The deaths don’t stop there, and neither did Cronenberg’s appearance in the series.
Titled “Upstairs Downstairs,” the fourth episode is available today on Shudder, and the exclusive clip below gives a deeper look at just how deep the Galloways’ dysfunction runs. It sees Cronenberg’s character offering a harrowing, unthinkable choice to the mother of his grandchild.
In the fourth episode, “Paranoia and suspicion grow among the surviving group, as another body is discovered and terrible secrets from the past come to the surface.”
Pyewacket‘s Adam MacDonald directed “Slasher: Flesh & Blood.” Along with Cronenberg, the series also stars Paula Brancati, Jefferson Brown, Patrice Goodman, Sabrina Grdevich, and Christopher Jacot. New faces this year include Rachael Crawford (Heartland), Jeananne Goosen (The Walking Dead), Sydney Meyer (Departure), and Alex Ozerov (The Americans).
