Hailing out of Lebanon, Slave to Sirens is set to hit the world’s stage with fresh swagger and a brand new album.
Celebrated as Middle East’s first all-female metal band, the thrash group were the subjects of the hugely successful documentary Sirens, which had its World Premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.
After well-documented turmoil, the band has found resolution and united for new music beginning with today’s single “Salomé”. It’s the first taste of fresh tunes from the thrash band who will also see their doc release later this year.
Rita Baghdadi directs Sirens, which follows the band’s struggles all the while Lebanon is on the brink of collapse.
