The countdown that started back in June over on Blue Isle Studios’ official site for Slender: The Arrival has revealed that the game is getting a big update for its 10th anniversary. Not only has the game received a visual upgrade, but Blue Isle has announced a brand-new title in S: The Lost Chapters!
Set for an October release, Slender: The Arrival gets a graphical overhaul with Unreal Engine 5.2. Every shadow, every material, every model and every encounter with the mysterious Slender Man will be rendered in stunning detail. This new update not only enhances the graphics but also elevates the overall gameplay experience. You can see from the screenshot comparisons just what the update entails.
Of course, the other big news is the announcement of S: The Lost Chapters, which can currently be wishlisted on Steam. Details on the game’s story have yet to be revealed, but per the press release and the Steam page, S: The Lost Chapters touts itself as “a brand new type of horror”, with a narrative that features a mix of new and old stories. As well, there will be new survival mechanics for the player, as they have to once again tackle Slender Man. Or is it?
