In the immediate wake of Paramount moving Top Gun: Maverick, Mission Impossible 7 and Jackass Forever to 2022, Sony has now pushed Ghostbusters: Afterlife into a new date.
But don’t worry, you won’t have to wait until 2022…
Ghostbusters: Afterlife will now release in theaters on November 19, 2021, the date that was just vacated by Top Gun: Maverick. Afterlife was previously set for November 11, 2021.

When a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.
Afterlife‘s cast includes Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace and Paul Rudd.
Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts are all coming back for this sequel to the original classic, reprising their iconic and beloved roles.
