Soulslike ‘Bleak Faith: Forsaken’ Expected on Consoles “Late 2024” [Trailer]

That previously-announced July 5 release date for the console release of Perp Games and developer Archangel Studios’ Soulslike RPG Bleak Faith: Forsaken was apparently too ambitious. Instead, it’s been announced that the game, which was released on PC via Steam last year, will be aiming for a “late 2024” release. The developer also took the opportunity to release a new teaser trailer for the Xbox and PlayStation release.

Since Bleak Faith‘s initial release on PC, Archangel Studios has been hard at work squashing bugs and supporting the game with numerous free content updates “to create a truly epic open world action RPG.”

In Bleak Faith: Forsaken, you are one of the Forsaken, the last frontier of humanity against the growing horrors of the Omnistructure. You must traverse the Omnistructure and put your valor to the test. Uncover a forgotten history through the lens of a lost civilization while exploring an expansive, handcrafted world. The Omnistructure is tremendous, and there is no singular path leading to the ultimate goal.

Combat is expectedly treacherous in Bleak Faith: Forsaken, which will push you to your limits. Positioning, timing, and resource-management are all things you must keep in mind at all times. How you undertake each encounter is up to you. Do you take the silent route by downing enemies from the shadows with a pair of daggers, sniping them with arrows, or even scale gigantic monsters and bosses to take them down?
