HeroCraft PC’s stealth horror title Gravewood High has been toiling away in Early Access for a while now, and the time has come for it to graduate (sorry). The game will leave Early Access on May 3, and will be available on PC for both Steam and Epic Games Store. The team has put together a new trailer to mark the announcement.
The full release of Gravewood High will include all of the previous single and multiplayer content, along with the following additions:
- A new power – You can use teleportation to avoid traps and the clutches of your stalker.
- Brand-new locations – Explore all-new classrooms, dungeons, and a mysterious area that hasn’t been seen before.
- A spooky tale – We will finally reveal the origin of the maniacal Mr. Hyde.
- More challenging nemesis – Mr. Hyde will have improved abilities, and include a few little helpers to make your adventure more challenging.
- The finale – There are two different endings, which will depend entirely on your choices.
The story for Gravewood High involves the disappearance of several students at the titular high school, with the adults seemingly oblivious to the whole thing. You’ve got to escape. Problem is, the building has turned into a massive labyrinth that continually shifts and changes.
Making matters worse is Mr. Hyde, the head teacher of the school who roams the grounds. As the game progresses, Mr. Hyde transforms physically and develops new abilities, becoming smarter and more dangerous. Hiding also no longer becomes an option, as you’ll have to outwit Mr. Hyde, or lure him into traps.
Featuring level randomization and destruction, Gravewood High sees players having to solve puzzles, hide in lockers, and use every item at their disposal to escape.
