After successfully launching board games based on Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, you knew this was coming. Steamforged Games has announced that they will be launching a Kickstarter for Resident Evil: The Board Game on October 26th.
The developers have also dropped a new teaser trailer for the board game, showing off the renders based on what looks to be the 2002 Resident Evil remake, rather than the 1996 original. It’s not confirmed as to which scenarios will be included, but you can bet that regardless of what’s announced, the Kickstarter goals (which will mostly likely be smashed again) will take care of any missing pieces.
The board game will allow for 1-4 players, and backers will be getting some exclusive stuff such as a Kickstarter-exclusive box that features the original 1996 logo. You can keep tabs on the game’s happenings leading up to the campaign launch through the Facebook Fan Group.
