After teasing fans a few months back with mystery concept art, developer Nacon Studio Milan have announced a new open-world survival game set in the world of Terminator. Specific details on the new game, including platforms, the game’s official title and release date, have yet to be revealed, but we do get a slick little teaser trailer.
Per the press release by Nacon, the Terminator game will feature an original story building on the events of the films, though which films in the franchise haven’t been specified. The story will see players play as a group of nuclear apocalypse survivors fighting to stay alive in a time period between Judgment Day and the creation of John Connor’s resistance.
Meanwhile, another Terminator game, Slitherine’s real-time strategy title Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance, is expected later this year. And if you’re looking to get your fix for smashing up T-800s, there’s still Teyon’s Terminator: Resistance, which is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.
With Nacon also developing RoboCop: Rogue City for a June 2023 release, while the odds of it happening are slim, how cool would it be to get a new RoboCop vs. The Terminator video game?
