Shudder continues their “Summer of Chills” with French horror-comedy Teddy (review) heading to the streaming service on August 5, 2021.
In Teddy, “Twentysomething Teddy lives in a foster home and works as a temp in a massage parlor. A scorching hot summer begins, and Teddy is scratched by a beast in the woods: the wolf that angry local farmers have been hunting for months. As weeks go by, animal impulses soon start to overcome the young man.”
Check out Shudder’s brand new trailer down below, which teases some of the werewolf horror and awkward humor in store for its eponymous character trapped in his rural small town.
Ludovic and Zoran Boukherma write and direct Teddy, which stars Anthony Bajon (The Prayer) and Noémie Lvovsky (Invisibles).
