Announced last year, Paramount+ is bringing back the “Teen Wolf” series with Teen Wolf: The Movie, a feature length continuation coming to Paramount+ later this year.
From creator Jeff Davis, MTV Entertainment Studios, and MGM’s Orion Television, Teen Wolf: The Movie will star returning actors Tyler Posey, Holland Roden, Shelley Hennig, and Crystal Reed, set to reprise their roles alongside Orny Adams, Linden Ashby, JR Bourne, Seth Gilliam, Colton Haynes, Ryan Kelley, Melissa Ponzio and Dylan Sprayberry.
In the new movie, “A terrifying evil has emerged in the town of Beacon Hills. The wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes, and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a Werewolf like Scott McCall, no longer a teenager yet still an Alpha, can gather both new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they’ve ever faced.”
The streaming service has also announced “Wolf Pack” for 2022, based on the book series by Edo Van Belkom. The project will be an all-new series, also from Jeff Davis!
Loosely based on the ’80s movie, “Teen Wolf” launched in 2011 with Tyler Posey starring as a young werewolf. The series ran for six seasons, coming to an end in September 2017.
Posey’s Scott McCall defends his town from other supernatural threats. The entire 100-episode “Teen Wolf” library is also available to stream on Paramount+ in key global markets.
