In addition to the upcoming spinoff series “Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” (it’s coming to Paramount+ this summer), the world of last year’s hugely entertaining Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem will expand with an official sequel in 2026.
Paramount will release the untitled Mutant Mayhem sequel on October 9, 2026.
In last year’s movie, “After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.”
Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu and Brady Noon voice the roles of Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo and Raphael, respectively. The cast also includes Jackie Chan as Splinter, Hannibal Buress as Genghis Frog, Rose Byrne as Leatherhead, John Cena as Rocksteady, Ice Cube as Superfly, Natasia Demetriou as Wingnut, Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil, Giancarlo Esposito as Baxter Stockman, Post Malone as Ray Fillet, Paul Rudd as Mondo Gecko, Maya Rudolph as Cynthia Utrom, and Seth Rogen as Bebop.
Jeff Rowe (The Mitchells vs. the Machines) directed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, which was produced by “The Boys” duo of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
Brendan O’Brien wrote the screenplay.
The new animated project was a co-production between Nickelodeon Animation Studio through their Nickelodeon Movies banner, Paramount Animation and Point Grey Pictures.
