Microsoft and Ninja Theory have been keeping things quiet on the development of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II for a while now, but popped up at The Game Awards 2023 to reveal a new trailer for the anticipated sequel, reiterating the 2024 release date window.
“The sequel to the award winning Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, sees Senua return in a brutal journey of survival through the myth and torment of Viking Iceland,” according to the trailer description. “Intent on saving those who have fallen victim to the horrors of tyranny, Senua faces a battle of overcoming the darkness within and without.”
Revealed at The Game Awards 2019, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is currently in development for Xbox Series and PC, as well as Xbox Game Pass.
