Right on cue, the first of “The Boys” skins is now available as part of Season 4 Reloaded for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone, with Starlight available now. On top of the skins, players can also enjoy map changes, themed camos, and even superpowers.
Season 4 Reloaded temporarily adds the new Temp V field upgrade, which if you’ve seen the show (and read the comic), is named after the super serum used in the show that grants its user a temporary 24-hour superpower. In the game, the upgrade will grant players one of four random superpowers upon activation. Once you use it, you’ll lose the ability, and will need to find another dose to get it back.
Injecting Temp V will grant players an electric shockwave attack, laser vision, teleportation, or a charged jump attack. And if you don’t like the random ability you’ve picked up, you can swap the equipped field upgrade for another randomized power (as long as you haven’t used it).
You can still pick other field upgrades if you need to grab something else, but just like any other field upgrade, you will be swapping out your Temp V ability.
Meanwhile, you’ll be able to snag the Homelander skin on July 16th, with Black Noir coming July 20th.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone are available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series.
And for you fans of “The Boys”, season 4 will be delayed until the WGA strike has resolved. There’s also the spinoff series “Gen V” that’s still currently expected to arrive this Fall.
