Session 9 director Brad Anderson continues to pump out new genre films and is next hunting down Frank Grillo in The Dagon, Bloody Disgusting first learned.
In The Dagon…

The “gripping psychological thriller” is currently in pre-production with Neal Edelstein (Mullholland Drive, The Ring, Night’s End) and Mike Macari (Alone) both producing.
Frank Grillo, who appeared in The Purge: Anarchy, The Purge: Election Year, and Beyond Skyline, is also starring in the Steven C. Miller-directed werewolf horror film Year 2, and the Charles Manson-inspired Man’s Son.
Brad Anderson also directed Blood, which is currently for sale at the Cannes market, as well as The Machinist, Vanishing on 7th Street, The Fractured, and many others.
Independent Entertainment is handling the film at Cannes.
