It’s only the first entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology so far, but if you want horror on the go, Man of Medan on the Nintendo Switch is a good place to start. Supermassive Games has announced the surprise launch of Man of Medan on the Switch, which is available through the Nintendo eShop for $19.99.
Included with Switch version of Man of Medan is the Curator’s Cut game mode and two-player online and five-player couch co-op. The game also has updated gameplay features, including revised difficulty settings and QTE warnings, improved user interface and interactions, and wider accessibility options including subtitle sizing. The extended playable chapter “Flooded” is also included in this version.
No word yet on when/if the other entries in The Dark Pictures Anthology will be making their way to the Switch.
Man of Medan is the first entry in the first season of The Dark Pictures Anthology. Initially released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam back in 2019 (and later to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series), Man of Medan follows five friends who set sail on a holiday diving trip, only to be taken hostage by a group of fishermen. The group eventually happens upon the SS Ourang Medan, a WWII freighter that holds secrets that should have remain undiscovered.
