Ahead of developer Refugium Games and publisher Perp Games’ The Greyhill Incident landing on PC this Friday, the teams have released one final teaser for fence-sitters, and for those who can’t wait to fend off an alien invasion. Console owners will have to wait a little bit longer, but judging from Harrison’s preview a few weeks back, it’ll be worth it.
Inspired by ‘true incidents’, books, TV shows & films from Fire in The Sky to “The X-Files”, Communion and more, The Greyhill Incident is a story-driven Survival Horror game that takes place during the early 90s in the town of Greyhill. You are Ryan Baker, and there’s an alien invasion underway. It’s up to you and your neighbours to work together to fend off the aliens from abducting everyone. That involves boarding up houses, establishing a neighbourhood watch, and using stealth tactics to navigate the town and avoid detection.
The Greyhill Incident will be available on PC via Steam on June 9, while PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series owners will get their hands on the game on June 13th. There will also be a physical Abducted Edition released on June 23rd for the PS5 that you can order from Perp Games’ website. On top of that, there’s also the Abducted Collectors Edition that includes the game itself, a guide to creating a tinfoil hat, a newspaper clipping that details the first alien invasion, as well as the game’s digital soundtrack.
