The hit Hunger Games franchise returns to the big screen with brand new prequel movie The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes on November 17, based on the same-titled novel by Suzanne Collins and telling the story of a young Coriolanus Snow.
In the film from director Francis Lawrence, “Coriolanus Snow mentors and develops feelings for the female District 12 tribute during the 10th Hunger Games.”
Viola Davis stars alongside Tom Blyth and Rachel Zegler as Dr. Volumnia Gaul, the head game maker of the 10th Hunger Games. As fans of the book know, Volumnia Gaul was also the mastermind behind the Capitol’s experimental weapons division, cooking up various twisted mutations in an underground laboratory. Want to meet some of them? Right now?
Bloody Disgusting was invited inside Dr. Volumnia Gaul’s laboratory for Halloween, and we were able to sneak a handful of photographs of some of her most twisted mutations.
