Director Coralie Fargeat (Revenge) is back this year with brand new body horror movie The Substance, and the first look teaser trailer was debuted over on Deadline this morning.
The teaser runs just 40-seconds long – and you’ll have to head over to Deadline to watch it – but it gives us our first look at Demi Moore in the movie while revealing the storyline.
Here’s how the Cannes Film Festival website describes the film…

With The Substance, you can generate another version of yourself, younger, more beautiful, more perfect… Just share the time. One week for one, one week for the other. Ahead of the world premiere in Cannes, Mubi has acquired worldwide rights.
