Call of Duty: Warzone already pulled off the crossover we never expected with King Kong and Godzilla a few months ago. And now, it looks like you can add The Terminator to Warzone very shortly.
The official Call of Duty Twitter tweeted out the cryptic image you see below earlier this afternoon. In amongst gold bars is a silver bar labelled a mimetic polyalloy with Skynet stamped on it. Obviously, a reference to Terminator 2‘s T-1000.
The image coincides with “Season 4: Mercenaries of Fortune” arriving tomorrow (June 22) for both Warzone and Vanguard. No word on which Terminator we’ll be getting for the Warzone event, be it the T-800 and/or T-1000.
It’s a nice callback to last year, where Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone had John Rambo and John McClane join in a time-limited crossover, not to mention Judge Dredd and Ghostface.
