Can you believe it’s been 20 YEARS since James Wan and Leigh Whannell burst onto the scene with the original SAW? While we’re not getting a new installment in the franchise until next year, we’ve learned today that the original classic returns to theaters this Halloween.
Tickets are available starting today through Fathom Events for the 20th anniversary re-release of SAW, which brings the Unrated version of the film to theaters for the very first time.
If it’s Halloween, it must be SAW. And just in time for Halloween, this Exclusive Screening on October 20 & October 23 features a special intro from Jigsaw himself, Tobin Bell.
The bonus content features Bell discussing SAW fandom and his iconic performance.
Fathom Events previews, “Dismember the memories and delve deeper than ever into the film’s Unrated story of Kramer, whose moral code speaks to rejuvenating a love for life in his victims via a series of deadly tests and games. What Kramer offers the lucky ones who survive his fiendishly clever traps is the most precious of gifts: gratitude to be among the living.”
Tickets for SAW Unrated can be purchased at Fathom Events or at participating theater box offices. For a complete list of theater locations, visit the Fathom Events website.
Leigh Whannell, Tobin Bell, Cary Elwes and Shawnee Smith star in SAW, wherein two men awaken to find themselves on the opposite sides of a dead body, with specific instructions to kill the other or face consequences. The mastermind? Modern horror icon Jigsaw.
