Fans of PQube and SONNORI’s White Day: A Labyrinth Named School have been teased again in regards to the follow-up, White Day 2: The Flower That Tells Lies. A third teaser trailer has been released for the game, which so far has only been announced for a Steam release (though no Steam page exists as of yet). Along with the teaser, a handful of new screenshots have also been released via the official site.
Promising “meticulously organized horror” that will surpass the original, the story for White Day 2 sees a rumor being spread amongst the students that the ghost of Sung-ah had been seen in Yeondu High School after the events of the previous game. People’s reaction to the rumours was largely one of disbelief and indifference, though a select few still have memories of what transpired. Those same students decided to see for themselves if there was any truth to the rumours, and ventured into the school late at night.
However, as before, the school has swallowed them up once again.
If you’re unfamiliar with the first game, White Day is a Survival Horror title that saw you trapped in Yeondu High School, hunted not only by the souls of the deceased students that roam the building, but also the school’s janitor. The game features a dynamic scare system, where the higher the difficulty, the more terrors you encounter.
Thanks to Gematsu for the heads up.
