As we told you this morning, brand new sequel Scream is coming to Digital tomorrow, March 1st, ahead of the film’s physical release on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on April 5.
A batch of Deleted Scenes will be included with the home video release of Scream, and IGN knows you don’t want to wait. Which is why they’ve shared one of them right now!
In this deleted scene, which takes place in the wake of the latest Ghostface murder, Sam Carpenter and Mindy Meeks-Martin discuss the motive of the killer. “I thought you said the killer didn’t care about the sequels,” Sam says to Mindy. “Maybe you weren’t wrong. Maybe this is a diversion. You know, like in the movies, when the villain does something to draw attention away from his real plan.” David Arquette‘s legacy hero Dewey Riley is also featured in the clip.

Scream reunites Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette who come together to help a group of fresh victims…and uncover a host of new suspects. The film also stars Melissa Barrera, Mason Gooding, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, and Marley Shelton.
“Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a terrifying new killer resurrects the Ghostface mask. As the deaths mount, Woodsboro’s new targets must seek help from the survivors of the original Ghostface attacks. Now, only Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), former sheriff Dewey Riley (David Arquette), and reporter Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) can find a way to stop the killer when everyone is a suspect.”
