TMI WARNING. Those of you who do not care about my reproductive choices can skip it. …………. I got my IUD insertion done today and it did not go 100% smoothly. My cervix wouldn’t open or soften like it was supposed to after administering the appropriate drugs. I am told it is painful for everyone but mine lasted quite a long time too. I have the worst cramping I’ve ever experienced. I am still glad to have done it, but I’m in a lot of pain right now and I’m being a giant bitch monster. Hopefully this goes away in the next few days. I’m having a crappy day and I wanted to rant.
