Sharkmob’s free-to-play battle royal game Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt has been in Early Access since September of last year. Fortunately for fans, the day has finally come for it to leave Early Access on Steam and PlayStation 5 on April 27.
In a press release, Sharkmob’s David Sirland reports that after a successful time in Early Access where Sharkmob has spent the time implementing user feedback, they “can’t wait to show fans how [Bloodhunt] has progressed.” Furthermore, the team is “delighted to be bringing the game to a new audience of PlayStation 5 players and are excited to be launching the full game this April in all its glory.”
Speaking of the PS5, players can also now pre-order the Founder’s Ultimate Edition of the game, which includes over 100 additional cosmetics items for players to customize their characters, as well as 1,000 Tokens of in-game currency to purchase vanity items or the game’s Battle Pass. Specifically, the Founder’s Ultimate Edition includes “a one-of-a-kind, PlayStation 5-exclusive epic Samurai mask”, and two PlayStation 5-exclusive killer outfits: Headrush and Fast Forward.
The Founder’s Ultimate Edition can be pre-ordered now via the PlayStation Store.
Set in the World of Darkness universe, Bloodhunt is set in Prague, which has been consumed by a ruthless war between vampire clans. Complicating matters is the secret society known as The Entity, whose mission is to wipe out all vampires.
