At long last, Carnage is about to make his first appearance on the big screen when Sony Pictures’ Venom: Let There Be Carnage opens in theaters everywhere this Friday.
The origin of the characters has changed slightly, although the birth of Carnage comes from a similar scenario where serial killer Cletus Kasady (played by Woody Harrelson) is infected within the walls of a prison.
While earlier footage shows Kasady biting Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) and getting the symbiote blood into his system, this brand new clip gives us a look at the very first appearance of Carnage, who is triggered to life during the killer’s execution.
We previously shared four other clips right here, one of which that gives us a taste of Shriek, Carnage’s love interest!
Venom: Let There Be Carnage opens exclusively in theaters on October 1st. The studio is putting some huge weight into the release, touting a 3D release alongside the film taking over all IMAX screens. Watch for Meagan’s review later this week.
