Fancy a dark detective story with a heavy dose of body horror? Team CLOUT apparently does, as the indie team is working on a shooter harnessing the power of the Unreal Engine 5 to do just that in ILL.
As reported by PC Gamer, while the latest snippet of gameplay footage doesn’t contain any monsters, it sure does look awesome. Plus, the protagonist is voiced by none other than Resident Evil 2‘s Leon Kennedy himself, Nick Apostolides! If you want the real goods regarding the body horror (and there’s a lot), you’ll have to go back a several months and look on Team Clout’s Twitter page, which has enough delightfully gooey and gory monsters that would make Dead Space blush.

One of the team’s artists also posted a censored video of a hallway shootout that once again shows off the game’s gorgeous graphics, but also a pack of zombies that meet a double-barrelled shotgun.
Development on ILL has been quiet, and what info on the game that’s been released has been relegated to the developer’s socials. If by chance you want to chip in and contribute to the project, you can hit up Team CLOUT’s Patreon.
