Back in September, we reported that modder Praydog was working on a VR mod for Capcom’s remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3. Praydog recently gave fans an update in the form of gameplay footage of the mod in action for Resident Evil 2, courtesy of UploadVR.
The mod allows players to use an optional first-person camera, complete with motion controls. While it’s not quite ready yet for the masses, what’s here is definitely going to be worth the wait. Plus, you no longer have the rubber arms as we saw in the previous footage. You’ll apparently need a beast of a PC to run it, though.
The mod will make for a nice companion piece to Resident Evil 4 VR, which was released on October 21st.
