Fast Travel Games are continuing with their World of Darkness licensed games with the announcement of a new Vampire: The Masquerade title, Vampire: The Masquerade – Justice. Set for release later this year, Vampire: The Masquerade – Justice is currently being developed for the PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest 2, and Meta Quest 3.
As you might expect, in Vampire: The Masquerade – Justice, you play as a vampire. Set in Venice, you strike from the shadows and drink the blood of both human and vampire prey alike in your quest to bring your sire’s murderer to justice. Along the way, you’ll also uncover a conspiracy within Venice itself.
Featuring a gritty main narrative with several side missions, your dialogue with NPCs and choices you make bring you closer to the truth. Armed with your vampiric powers such as the Cloak of Shadows and Cauldron of Blood, you also have at your disposal your crossbow, which can be used for both puzzle solving and combat.
You’ll start out as a powerful vampire, though you’ll quickly gain experience, which will allow you to upgrade and purchase new disciplines in skill trees for stealth, combat, and high speed traversal.
“Justice allows players to experience the tantalizing world of Vampire: The Masquerade like never before, thanks to the power of virtual reality,” explains Erik Odeldahl creative director and Fast Travel Games co-founder per a press release via Gematsu. “Get ready to get up close and personal with allies, enemies, and of course, prey, all in stunning VR. There is no shortage of mysterious Kindred to meet, exotic locales to traverse, or foes to splatter on the architecture.”
