All of us here on Bloody Disgusting are big fans of Chris Lamartina and Jimmy George’s WNUF Halloween Special, a 2013 movie that plays out like a spooky cable access broadcast from the 1980s. Complete with fake commercials, WNUF Halloween Special is an annual watch for many of us here in the horror world, but did you know there’s a follow-up movie?!
Director Chris Lamartina expands the world of WNUF Halloween Special with Out There Halloween Mega Tape, which Terror Vision brings to 2-Disc Deluxe Edition Blu-ray.
This release is a Limited Edition of just 2,000 copies, and it can be pre-ordered right now on Terror Vision’s website for $40. They’re expected to ship in time for Halloween next month.
The company previews, “Terror Vision is proud to present the spiritual sequel to WNUF Halloween, the Out There Halloween Mega Tape from director Chris LaMartina. Packed with special features and some bonus goodies to make your Halloween extra special.
“Gorge yourself on candy corn and hunker down in your basement for a haunted house party filled with aliens, vamps, and phantom tramps. First up is trash TV titan, Ivy Sparks’ Halloween Spooktacular episode from 1994, featuring ghoulish guests- each dumber than the last. Fast forward to 1996 to witness Ivy’s nosedive into obscurity when she co-hosts the infamous live “Out There” special for the short-lived ACE network.”
